The business

24/7 drive has branches in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Romania and Bulgaria. There, a hundred office employees help about two thousand drivers with a C/CE driving license find temporary employment, often with an option for a permanent contract. 

Recruiting, selecting and deploying drivers involves a lot of administrative hassle. Just take the validity of the driver's license and Code 95 certification that must be renewed in a timely manner. These details are entered directly into OTYS' Applicant Tracking System (ATS) by 24/7 Drive when recruiting and selecting drivers. Does a driver need to attend training or courses for recertification? Then the ATS will make a timely notification of this. With the advantage for the client and the driver that 24/7 drive can also organize that training.

From CRM to ATS

As of September the 1st of last year (2022), 24/7 drive is the new name of 24/7 Chauffeursdiensten and 1ToDrive; one powerful name for two labels. The former company was founded in the Netherlands in 2006 by Mark Ooiman and Adrew Zwaarts. 1ToDrive focuses on the recruitment of drivers outside the Netherlands, forming the foreign branch of 24/7 drive.

Sven Isenbaert took charge of the expansion in Belgium and has since set up six branches there. "Our old ATS was more of a CRM system without links to recruitment functionalities. That system couldn't keep up and facilitate our expansion; it was really reaching its limits. A lot of administrative actions had to be done manually," Isenbaert said. After market research, the agency concluded that OTYS' ATS offered the best price/value solution for this.

Nathalie Neskens, operational manager of 24/7 Drive Belgium and key user of the OTYS software, confirms that her co-workers in the office can indeed work faster and more efficiently with the help of the software. The structure helps you ask the candidate targeted questions, and making it easy to switch between tabs during a phone call. Meanwhile, the system retains all entered information well. The workflows help keep an overview of all the tasks to be performed in the process of recruitment, selection and placement and help to also follow up on those tasks in a timely manner."

And if an employee does not know how a particular function of the ATS works, the database of OTYS videos on YouTube provides the necessary work instruction, just in time.

Integration between front and back office

In every step of the recruitment process, the necessary data from candidates and clients must be up-to-date, complete and consistent. Only then can a flex company function reliably and deliver good work.

The ATS of OTYS satisfies this need from the front office. But like many flex companies, 24/7 drive uses specific applications for back office work processes.
