We’re a software company and our sole focus is recruitment. We help recruiters by unifying all their data to build insightful paths for candidates and employers, so our users become smarter with every interaction and able to outmaneuver the competition in the very competitive labor market of today.

The foundation

Back in 2001, when OTYS was founded in a small attic, standard software was not yet around as much as nowadays. Standard applications were at the time often referred to as ‘off-the-shelf’ software.

Hence the name OTYS: ‘Off the Incredible Shelf’ with some creative spelling for obvious reasons. A second anecdote on the origins of our company name is that Jorrit Blok the founder of OTYS is a fan of Otis Redding, which has the same spelling challenge ;-). In our current logo, the Epsilon symbolizes people, which are at the heart of recruitment, finding 'A better job for everyone!'

Evolving

The labor market is constantly changing which makes being a recruiter a challenging profession. This means that recruitment software needs to address these changing market conditions constantly as well.

Our focus with OTYS Go!, our state-of-the-art ATS platform, is to empower our users to recruit smarter with all the tools needed at their fingertips.

OTYS is recognized as a reputable company, serving over 1,000 customers with more than 15,000 professional recruiters using OTYS Go! daily, in 25 European countries.
