Bring at Work strategically invests in new applications after an OTYS APK

It sounds like a classic success story. And indeed, it became a success. Ingrid van der Oord, together with her daughter Britt, started the temp agency Bring at Work in 2011 from her attic room. The Salvation Army was the first major client to give this startup in the staffing industry a significant boost.

Currently, the Amsterdam-based staffing company helps approximately 300 people find work daily in the healthcare, hospitality, logistics, and business services sectors through recruitment, secondment, temporary staffing, and freelance mediation. While Bring at Work focuses on the mid- to high-end segments in these industries, the agency also offers executive work for those who prefer to be hands-on.

To keep growth manageable and maintain quality, Bring at Work is willing to invest in recruitment software. An Annual Periodic Inspection (APK) of the OTYS software, supplied to Bring at Work, revealed that the software can be utilized even better, and the acquisition of several new applications can greatly benefit the organization.

Smooth and clear work processes

OTYS's recruitment software plays a crucial role in Bring at Work's development. "With the increase in the number of clients and candidates, the need for an overview also grew. Therefore, Bring at Work was looking for recruitment software that allows them to keep the workflow manageable, ensuring that work processes run smoothly, and consultants can take over each other's work. "We've been using OTYS software since 2017. Our experience is that it connects job vacancies, advertisements, candidates, clients, and activities in an insightful way, resulting in a clear and efficient workflow in the recruitment, selection, and placement process," says Kyla, Manager of Projects & Quality at Bring at Work.

Together with her colleagues, Kyla is currently working on improvements aimed at getting more out of the OTYS software's capabilities to better support the work of recruitment consultants. Kyla says, "We aim for quality, engagement, and flexibility. The OTYS applications help us because they optimize our work, improve our accessibility, and generate new leads."

Investing in new applications

The APK advice report from OTYS also revealed that with some targeted investments in partner applications of OTYS, Bring at Work can work even more efficiently, become more accessible, and increase revenue. These applications include Stiply, Joboti, Jobdigger, and Recruit Robin.

With Stiply, documents can be digitally signed, eliminating the need to print quotes and contracts for signatures.

Joboti integrates WhatsApp with OTYS and the chatbot of Bring at Work. The result of this integration is that more candidates and clients can be approached simultaneously via WhatsApp.

This means that Bring at Work is now accessible not only by phone 24/7 but also via WhatsApp. Additionally, all WhatsApp conversations are automatically recorded in OTYS.

Recruit Robin automatically searches job boards for candidates in job vacancies, reducing the need for Bring at Work's recruitment consultants to manually search job sites.

Conversely, Jobdigger does the opposite: it searches job boards for industry-specific job vacancies for candidates looking for work. Kyla explains, "Jobdigger introduces our candidates 'blindly' to potential clients, leading to new leads and additional revenue."

Added value of OTYS

Bring at Work is now making better use of OTYS's recruitment software and is investing in four additional applications that seamlessly communicate and integrate with OTYS. According to Kyla, OTYS delivers added value on three fronts:

  1. Improvement in quality by optimizing work processes
  2. More time for client relationships through automation of searching, matching, and generating leads
  3. Increased revenue through the sometimes surprising results of Jobdigger

In addition to praising OTYS products, Bring at Work's project and quality manager also speaks highly of the collaboration with Corijn Borst, an OTYS consultant. "Corijn proactively thinks along with our work process and the questions we have from there about the possibilities of the software. Although I build on my OTYS experience from my previous role as a recruitment consultant and the experience my colleagues have with it, I'm not exactly a tech expert. Yet, during the APK sessions, I could ask Corijn anything and always received a constructive answer."

OTYS doesn't look and think from the limitations of their software, but from the possibilities and how they can be utilized to meet our needs.

Kyla continued, "OTYS doesn't look and think from the limitations of their software but from the possibilities and how they can be used to meet our needs. My advice to anyone using an APK or product from OTYS: don't be afraid of the potential technical implications of your question; everything is open for discussion at OTYS, and there are many possibilities."
